Pucón

The town of Pucón sits on the east shore of Lake Villarrica, a 176 km² lake whose main inflow is the Trancura River (source: Wikipedia). Most of the district's lodging is here: of the 37 hotel records in Sernatur's search tool, 33 are in town (checked on October 14, 2026).

El Claro Waterfall, a drop of about 90 m, is 8.5 km from downtown (source: El Trancura, eltrancura.cl).

Getting there without a car

You can reach El Claro Waterfall by minibus from downtown Pucón (lines 1, 2 or 4, leaving from Ansorena and Brasil streets) to the Los Calabozos lane, then walk about 5 km (source: El Trancura, eltrancura.cl).
